No Malaysian 2026 specification change or replacement launch is confirmed, so the GUN156 facelift carries into 2026 with three seven-seat 4x4 automatic variants: 2.4 diesel, 2.7 SRZ petrol and 2.8 VRZ diesel. A 2026 Fortuner has been spied with a heavy facelift and carry-over body structure, but that does not confirm Malaysian specifications, equipment or launch timing. The 2024 optional GR bodykit is available for the 2.4 diesel and 2.7 SRZ petrol at RM3,990.
