Civic in 2026 — what's new
The Malaysian Civic carries into 2026 unchanged. The current FE facelift range remains the 1.5 E, 1.5 V and 1.5 RS Turbo, plus the 2.0 RS e:HEV hybrid. Thailand’s 2026 e:HEV gains S+ Shift simulated gearshifts and Blind Spot Information System, but those changes are not confirmed for Malaysia. Malaysian buyers continue with the existing four-variant line-up.

Which variant to buy
For most buyers, start with the RM133,900 1.5 E: it has the same 1,498 cc, 180 hp turbo engine, CVT and front-wheel drive as the RM144,900 1.5 V and RM149,900 1.5 RS Turbo. The RM11,000 step to V and further RM5,000 to RS need to be justified by their respective equipment lists; on paper, you are paying for trim rather than mechanicals. Pay RM167,900 for the 2.0 RS e:HEV if the hybrid’s stated 322 hp output and single-ratio automatic are what you want.
