Wey G9 in 2026 — what's new
The Mk1 Wey G9 is new for 2026 and carries on unchanged through the year following its Malaysian launch. The current range consists solely of the locally assembled Hi4 PHEV, a seven-seat 1.5-litre turbocharged plug-in hybrid MPV with all-wheel drive and an eCVT automatic. There are no later 2026 variant, powertrain or equipment updates announced. The G9 recorded 800 bookings in its first week on sale.
