Most buyers should take the PHEV Premium at RM328,800. It has the same stated 366 hp plug-in hybrid system, FWD layout, eCVT and seven seats as the PHEV Luxury at RM388,800. That RM60,000 gap does not buy a stated mechanical advantage. Choose the Luxury only after confirming its trim and equipment justify the extra spend, because on paper you are paying for trim rather than powertrain or seating.

The M8 brings a 120 km EV range claim and up to 1,038 km hybrid range claim to the executive-MPV brief, plus seven seats and 366 hp. At entry level, it costs RM59,000 more than the GWM Wey G9 and RM29,000 more than the Zeekr 009, though it remains below the Toyota Vellfire. The Luxury’s RM60,000 step is hard to justify without equipment confirmation.
