Veloz in 2026 — what's new
For 2026, the Malaysian Veloz carries on unchanged as a sole 1.5 petrol, front-wheel-drive CVT seven-seater. The latest Veloz development is the 1.5 hybrid shown at GIIAS 2026 after its Indonesian unveiling in 2025; it is not a change to the Malaysian single-variant range. The existing Malaysian car retains its 1,496 cc, 105 hp petrol drivetrain.

The Veloz takes the more upmarket position alongside the related Alza, but its RM95,000 price is RM32,500 above the Alza’s RM62,500 starting point. It sits RM4,980 below the RM99,980 Xpander. Seven seats, a 105 hp 1.5-litre petrol engine, CVT and front-wheel drive are the fixed Malaysian formula. The sizeable gap to the entry Alza needs to suit the buyer’s preference for the Veloz’s positioning.
