For 2026, the Fronx range gains the Sport, joining the Hybrid in Malaysia. Both are five-seat, front-wheel-drive automatic B-segment SUVs with a 1,462 cc petrol-hybrid powertrain rated at 100 hp. The Fronx also gets a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. It is available through Flux vehicle subscription at RM2,200 per month, alongside conventional ownership.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should take the Fronx Sport at RM130,888. It lists the same 1,462 cc, 100 hp petrol-hybrid drivetrain, front-wheel drive, automatic gearbox and five-seat layout as the RM147,888 Hybrid. The RM17,000 gap does not buy extra mechanical specification on paper. Pay more for the Hybrid only after checking that its trim and equipment additions are worth that difference to you.

Verdict
The Fronx brings Suzuki back into Malaysia's B-segment SUV field with a straightforward five-seat, front-wheel-drive package and a 100 hp hybrid petrol powertrain. But it is not priced as an entry-level alternative: even the Sport costs far more than the RM62,500 Perodua Ativa and RM72,900 Perodua Aruz. Equipment differences between the two Fronx variants need close scrutiny before stepping up to the Hybrid.
