GLB in 2026 — what's new
The X247 facelift carries into 2026 without an announced 2026-specific update to its Malaysian petrol range: the GLB200 Progressive Line remains the front-wheel-drive entry point, while the GLB250 AMG Line brings all-wheel drive. Mercedes-Benz also reveals a 2026 GLB as a seven-seat EV SUV, with up to 631 km of range, 320 kW DC charging, optional 400V architecture, MBUX Superscreen and MB.OS. A hybrid follows later.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should choose the RM290,888 GLB200 Progressive Line. It retains the seven-seat layout, uses a 161 hp 1.33-litre petrol engine and costs RM51,000 less than the GLB250. Pay RM341,888 for the GLB250 AMG Line if its 221 hp 1.99-litre engine and all-wheel drive matter to you. On paper, the extra outlay buys more power and driven wheels; check the equipment list before treating the trim name alone as sufficient reason.
