The Mercedes-Benz EQA is a five-seat C-segment electric SUV, launched in Malaysia in 2022. It suits buyers who want a Mercedes-Benz EV with front-wheel drive and a claimed 429 km range. Prices start from RM296,888 for the sole EQA 250 AMG Line, which uses a 66.5 kWh battery and a 188 hp electric motor.

No EQA-specific 2026 update is announced, so the Malaysian car carries into 2026 unchanged. The local range remains a single EQA 250 AMG Line. Mercedes-Benz revealed an EQA facelift for 2024 with a new front end and updated MBUX, plus outputs of up to 228 PS and 560 km of range in the wider EQA line-up. Those figures are not the specifications of Malaysia’s EQA 250.

The EQA 250 AMG Line gives Mercedes-Benz buyers a C-segment electric SUV with 429 km claimed range and 188 hp, but its RM296,888 price needs a clear-eyed look at the market. It costs more than the BMW iX1 L and MINI Countryman, and also exceeds the BMW iX2’s RM283,800 starting price. The single-variant range keeps the decision simple, but it does not offer a lower-priced entry point.
