For 2026, the Malaysian Sportage range continues with four locally assembled variants: 2.0G 2WD, 2.0G High 2WD, 1.6T High 2WD and 1.6T High AWD. Kia Sales Malaysia begins operations in 2026 and reveals revised Sportage prices, while a five-year Kia Maintenance Plan is available from RM2,980. The current Malaysian cars retain the 2.0-litre naturally aspirated and 1.6-litre turbo petrol choices.

Most buyers should start with the RM129,639 2.0G 2WD: it has the same 154 hp 1,999 cc petrol engine, automatic transmission and five seats as the RM139,639 2.0G High 2WD.
