The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE carries into 2026 unchanged in Malaysia, with the CLE53 4Matic+ remaining the sole variant. It uses a 2,999 cc petrol-hybrid powertrain, all-wheel drive and a wet dual-clutch automatic. An extreme Mercedes-AMG CLE development car is undergoing testing, but there is no confirmed production Black Series, V8 specification, Malaysian launch or price to add to the current range.

Verdict
The CLE53's appeal is clear on paper: 463 hp, AWD and a wet dual-clutch transmission in a four-seat coupe. Its RM722,888 entry point sits RM204,000 above the regular CLE's starting price, though RM155,912 below the BMW M4 Coupe. That does not make it a cheap route into an AMG coupe. Ride, handling and real-world performance need a proper local drive to settle.
