A new scooter from Aveta, the 2026 Aveta Viper 180, priced at RM8,998. Pricing does not include road tax, insurance ad registration and three colour options are available – Arctic White, Midnight Black dan Storm Grey.
The Viper 180 is powered by a single-cylinder, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine displacing 174 cc and producing 18 hp at 6,500 rpm with 17.2 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. Power goes through a CVT gearbox and belt final drive to the rear wheel.
Styling for the Viper 180 is somewhat aggressive, while riding information is displayed on a seven-inch TFT-LCD screen with connectivity to the rider’s smartphone. LED lighting is used throughout and a front dash cam is standard equipment.
Wheel sizing is 14-iches in front, wearing a 110/70 tyre while a 13-inch wheel is mounted at the back with 130/70 rubber. Suspension is done with conventional telescopic forks in front and twin shock absorbers adjustable for spring preload in the rear.
Braking uses single hydraulic discs front and rear, with two-channel ABS as standard equipment, as is traction control. Every Viper 180 comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

That’s a Honda/Yamaha issue. I just bought he Viper 180 for RM 9.5k OTR
