Launched today, the Perodua Traz brings to the national carmaker’s product range a B-segment SUV offering that complements, and not replace, the Ativa that is physically smaller (245 mm shorter, 60 mm narrower) than the Traz. As is customary now, the latest model to emerge from Perodua also gets a range of GearUp accessories.
Starting with the exterior, the GearUp bodykit is comprised of a front bumper kit with guide lights (with requisite accessory extension wire harness that is sold separately), side skirts, and rear bumper kit. The bodykit is priced at RM2,700 in Peninsular Malaysia, or RM2,756 in East Malaysia.
Accompanying these is the Elevate package that adds a front grille garnish, side mirror covers and a rear mid spoiler (located between the tail lamps and the base of the tailgate window); this package is priced at RM900 (RM918 for East Malaysia).
For the interior, the GearUp catalogue offers Nappa leatherette seat covers, priced at RM1,200, or RM1,222 for East Malaysia. This set brings a sporty design with red contrast stitching and insert sections, and is meant to be easy to clean for the rigours of family life. These retain compatibility with the vehicle’s Isofix anchors and have been tested for side airbag deployment, says Perodua.
Adding to the cabin ambience is the illumination package, which is comprised of RGB lighting for the side sill scuff plates and footwells (RM580 in Peninsular Malaysia, RM589 in East Malaysia), and the accessory extension wire harness at RM130 (RM133 in East Malaysia).
Also featured here is the utility package (RM510 in PM, RM520 in EM) comprised of door visors, a luggage tray and a coil mat set. A wireless device charger can also be had, offering up to 15W of charging; this is priced at RM350 (PM) and RM356 (EM).
For safety and security, the GearUp catalogue offers a wheel lock nut set, made from hardened steel, priced at RM200, or RM204 in East Malaysia.
For the young ones, there is the Perodua Care child seat (RM680 PM, RM695 EM) that is rated to fit children up to 12 years of age, weighing up to 36 kg. This is secured by Isofix anchors and has ECE R44/04 certification, and offers adjustable harnesses to suit the child.
Its 360-degree rotating functionality offers ease of securing the child occupant in place, and its extended rearward-facing application is suited for children up to four years old, up to 18 kg. For comfort, this offers six positions of recline, and is available in blue or grey.
There’s more, certainly, with a host of general accessories also offered under the Perodua GearUp umbrella. These include the door handle protector, smart tracker, centre console organiser, blind spot mirror, tissue pack holder with mirror, luggage mat, magnetic shopping hook, and door edge protector.
Also on are the sun visor organiser, luggage organiser, leather tissue box cover, headlamp cleaner, booster cable, air freshener and refill packs, rain repellent, accessory dashboard anti-slip mat, and a multipurpose container.
As official Perodua products, items from the GearUp catalogue are covered by a one-year warranty, and an instalment plan is available when purchase with brand-new units of the Perodua Traz.

Red, white, silver color can be potentially transform into very nice GR makeup.
its not actually “nappa seat” its only seat cover. accessory which is used to cover the actual seat underneath
1Nm RM588 c/w max 138Nm and 1Nm RM391 c/w max 290Nm; it is predicted that most blind people will foolishly purchase.
